About Don

Mentor, Coach, Consultant

Dr. Don Easton is; a church planter and Senior Minister at C3 Church Robina (1991-), businessman, husband, father, grandad. Don’s life experience and formal education (1992), have equipped him as mentor, coach, and consultant. His passion is to see people be all they are made to be.

Positioned to help across denominational lines

Uniquely, Don has both traditional and pentecostal ministry experience. Brought up in the Methodist Church, he trained for ministry in the Uniting Church, and after ordination served in two placements. He is a Senior Minister with C3 Church and has had both State (Director SA & Qld/FNNSW) and National roles (National Operations 10yrs).

His expertise as a mentor, coach, and consultant extends beyond church life.

He is sought after by School Principals/Leaders, Political Figures, Business Leaders, and Professional Sportspeople. Don considers the experience of severe burnout and recovery a gift. Burnout has enabled him to reinvent himself, and has provided a platform for helping others to avoid and recover from burnout.
Recent speaking engagements, where Don has been able to help build well-being, include; Staff meeting of C3 San Diego, Qld FNNSW Pastors Day “Well-Being in Ministry”, C3 Australia National Conference 2018 breakout session “Avoiding Burnout” and Sunday Services C3 Trinity Dallas “Thrive”.

The best things in life

Don and Adrienne (m1979) say “our greatest achievement is raising three children”. Their 3 married adult children and 5 grandchildren are “one of the best things in life”. Their family share an enthusiasm for the house of God and are actively involved in church life.

Riding the Harley Davidson helps fill Don’s tank. He enjoys meals with friends, walking on the beach, woodworking and working in his acreage garden.

He is 25,000 words into writing a book on “Burnout and Beyond”.

Don’s life ambition

is summed up in the words of Paul,  “I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. I want to suffer with him, sharing in his death, so that one way or another I will experience the resurrection from the dead!”
